Adieu to another record breaking year – here's to an even bigger 2024!
Good morning, and welcome to our final newsletter of 2023! It has been another year – our 11th so far, of bringing you news from right across the Orchard County and beyond. And for the eleventh straight year we have seen our visitor numbers to the website grow. Thank you to our readers for your loyalty.
2024 will be another big year and already we have plans in the pipeline to improve our coverage – there are still many, many things we want to do. We’re full of ideas; sometimes I need to be reined in but nonetheless it will be a year where we push new projects – some may be better than others but we’re excited for what’s in store.
As always, thanks so much to you, our newsletter readers, for allowing us into your inbox – it’s not a privilege we take for granted. We also have ambitions to make this newsletter even better (how is that even possible you ask!) so stick with us for all that. We’re always open to feedback, so don’t be shy!
We’re also going to increase the output on our Entrepreneur NI newsletter in 2024; we already have the first newsletter of the year lined up and (almost) ready to go. You can sign up to that particular newsletter here.
For now, myself (Micheal), Kellie and Scott wish you a very happy New Year and we look forward to a very prosperous 2024 for all!

Instagram
Did you notice? A few weeks ago we unexpectedly lost our Instagram account. Unbeknownst to us, the fickle folks (or bots!) at Meta swooped in, in the early hours and stole it away, with over 11,000 followers in tow. They didn’t even give us a chance to appeal the decision… and believe us… it was unwarranted.
Whilst it hurt at the time, it wasn’t the end of the world. This newsletter community is where we have our true following and it’s why the newsletter is so important to us. We aren’t at the mercy of the platform here. So, thank you for subscribing.
You can’t keep a good thing down - and it’s also probably also a small act of rebellion on our part - but we started a new Instagram account and we would be ever grateful if you could give us a follow if you haven’t already.
