Arrival of Tim Hortons chain 'would kill my business'
Good morning to you! Here is number 28 of our email newsletter – coming to you on a Friday. For those stalwarts who have been here from the single figures, you may now have noticed we are trying to push our newsletter out twice a week when we can – there is often far too much to cram in over seven days. And with plans in the pipeline there will definitely be too much to cram into one newsletter over seven days.
Anyway, on with the show! Today's feature story (newsletter first for you good folk) is a follow on from our exclusive Tim Hortons story, regarding the Canadian chain opening up their latest branch on Lurgan's Millennium Way.
While it was welcomed by many, there is always two sides to any coin – and in this case it's that of the local independent retailer down the road.
Sacha Malone of Maloney's Diner in Flush Place took time out to speak with us, for which we are truly grateful for. This is why Tim Hortons, for many, maybe is not so good...
Check out the story below. And as always, we value your feedback, tips, rants and just general hellos.

Have you noticed...
Our new login button at the top of the website. It requires little fanfare but just an easier way to login and comment on our stories – we realised it was wasn't the easiest procedure in the world previously, so just a helping hand. Give it a go. It'll be great to get some conversations going directly on the Armagh I website.
Cinema tickets winner
This week's winner is Elaine Nugent. Thanks so much for entering – we'll email you your e-tickets later today. Enjoy! For everyone else, we go again next time, so keep an eye out for the next ticket giveaway. Just waiting on Rikki to upload Friday's listings................just checking he's reading this.
