Counting down to our biggest event of the year...
Today is a big day at Armagh I headquarters... today at 10.30am we will be launching our third Armagh I People of the Year Awards in association with Alora Rejuvenation at Armagh Observatory and Planetarium (get it, launching?)
We will be meeting with our category sponsors, local elected representatives and members of the public to officially launch our biggest event of the year!
We will also shortly be announcing this year's categories and guidelines on how to nominate your person to be proud of... so stay tuned!
In March, we had a fantastic night at the finale event and we are going all out to make next year's as big of a success. Happy 70th to Laura Vahey who will be celebrating her 70th on November 12th (actual birthday is the 13th) with a party with family and friends at Keegan's in Armagh.
"As a stage 4 Melanoma survivor in my 60s, it will be a marvellous milestone celebration of life!"

Golden Threads: A Relational Approach to Improving Mental Health
Relate NI are holding free community group workshops across the ABC council area as part of the Golden Threads project.
Golden Threads is a new project which looks at supporting relationships to improve mental wellbeing. Workshops are tailored to group needs and may include the following themes:
-Relationships & Mental Wellbeing
-Nurturing Relationships
-Relationship Transitions
-Love Yourself
-Communicating Well
-Managing Conflict

It's Show Time...
The Killylea Players put on an excellent and well attended performance of Sam Cree's Where There's a Will There's a Way held in Killylea Parish Hall with proceeds going towards Killylea Silver Band.
Huge congratulations to all the young performers who took part in St John The Baptist's College Portadown's first major production, Annie. With many hours of rehearsals behind them, the young cast performed brilliantly to convey a clear message of hope, optimism, and justice. Very well done to all involved.
