Ghoulish October so far at Armagh I
Good morning, Micheal with you here. Truth be told, this is the third variation of this newsletter this week – it's been one of those weeks, largely centred around a cyber attack and battling off intrusive Vietnamese hackers pretending to be Armagh I on social media – you may have noticed some weird goings on on our main Facebook page.
We thought we had fended it off last week but they were deep-rooted in the long grass. Each morning waking up to an email saying we'd been kicked out again. You know those moments when you feel everything leave your body – that!
Anyway, we've managed to speak to a human at Facebook. For anyone who has had previous difficulties with Facebook, you'll know that's an impressive feat in itself. Maybe when it's all a little less raw we will fill you in on the lengths (literally) we've gone to this week. There may be is lessons to be learnt from this one too.
Away from Facebook, this newsletter has been steadily growing, and given our difficulties with social media this week, we are considering increasing the frequency of it to a couple of times a week.
After all, as signed up members you are among some of our most loyal readers – and we really do appreciate that. As always, we welcome your feedback, so just reply to this email with your thoughts, no matter how ghoulish!
Halloween is nigh...
As if this week wasn't scary enough!!! Here's something to get your teeth into happening later this month. 'Rushfear' – I do love a good pun, so hats off to the Council for that one....
