Jennifer's pain as Facebook hack kills business social media
Morning everyone, Rikki here with you. Well, I was allowed back to have another go at the newsletter. Another member of the team (who will introduce herself next week) was meant to write this one but instead has been out working very hard on our (before hinted at) new* idea, which of course, you will hear about first in the Tuesday edition.
When you sit down to write a newsletter your mind wanders back over everything that has happened in the previous week and hope for some inspiration. It's always our aim to be somewhat light-hearted, as well as giving you an insight into what our office is like. Of course, like any work environment, there are highs and lows.
Anyone who knows me, knows I'm a perfectionist; I like things to be just so!
This hasn't been a normal working week for me, I've spent time out on the road meeting with businesses; I've been in staff training and liaising with caterers (for our People of the Year awards in March) – we might have mentioned these once or twice now. These are just a few of the weekly tasks I've ticked off.
Armagh I is like a finely-tuned watch; when one cog turns it moves a hundred others.....
On top of our day-to-day news we have various other platforms including armaghjobs.com, our obituaries section, entertainment section, not to mention the many advertising clients we work with on a daily basis. So imagine my mind when trying to make everything perfect!
Anyway, the point I wanted to make was, at Armagh I, we as a team put everything we have into the final result, which reaches you and often what takes you minutes to read took us hours to prepare. We are dedicated to what we do and the passion that goes into every element of our "jobs".

We spoke with Jennifer McKearney, owner of White Orchid Beauty and Spa, about the horror she experienced after being informed that videos of what she described as "the most horrifying content" we posted on her personal account. Watch the video here – and don't forget to subscribe!
