Our scam story concludes with a happy ending...
Plus, can you help one Armagh I reader track down long-lost relatives..
Good morning and welcome to your Tuesday morning newsletter. And a special welcome to all the newcomers among you who now make up more than 9,000 newsletter readers.
Among all the doom and gloom there are still some positive people and stories lurking. We thought we would lift one benevolent person up onto a pedestal this morning.
On Saturday, we published a story urging the public to be vigilant to online market scams after one local woman lost £40 to the ploy.
It wasn't a large amount of money but she felt it was the principle more than anything and spoke out with the intention of warning others not to fall into the trap.
Here's the good part – the story prompted organisers of the Lurgan Show to reach out in the Facebook comments section, offering to 'look after' the out-of-pocket vendor.
We put the two in touch and understand that the woman is now very much looking forward to attending the show on June 1. Hurrah!
A touching gesture that we are sure meant a great deal. Maybe it's not always hard-hitting news - but sometimes the little voices need to be amplified.

Reader request
We have had a lady reach out in the hope of tracing the owners of the Railway Bar in Armagh in and around the 1960s before selling it to Finnegans.
The reader says that Stanley McCullough and his wife Irene, now deceased, owned the Ulster Inn on Railway Street. She believes the McCulloughs also owned a jeweller’s shop in Scotch Street, and a car dealership in Barrack Street. They were also related to a George McCullough, who lived with his wife, May, in Callan street in the 60s/70s. The lady is trying to trace any of the McCullough living relatives. Any help is much appreciated. Simply reply to this email and we can pass on details.
