Some great characters have emerged..
Good morning! It's Micheal here. I just want to start off by thanking every one who replied to our newsletter last week – I genuinely didn't expect so many to send a message – no matter how small it was, it was greatly appreciated. A big should out to Bernard 'Brian' Mallon, originally from Middletown, but living in California who had spent some of his younger years in the US Air Force – we'll hopefully have a little more from Brian in a week or two. And another ex-pat, Gerry Fields, living over in Sweden – a big shout out to you too. He's a bit of a globetrotter with a tale or two to tell. i'll hopefully extract that story too. Like I said last week, please feel free to reply to this email with suggestions, questions and even things you think we should be covering. Or just for the craic...it's always good to hear from people, home or away!
Shout out!
While we're here giving shoutouts, I think it's a great opportunity to introduce our newest recruit to the editorial team – Mairead Holland. She'll be a familiar name to some, having worked as a journalist in the area for many years. A wealth of experience to the Armagh I team. If you have any news you'd like her to cover, drop her a line on info@armaghi.com. That makes myself (Micheal), Conor, Elaine and now Mairead on the editorial team. Next week may include a new member to our sales and marketing team..but we'll leave you with a cliffhanger this week..

Commenting on Armagh I
You may have noticed our new commenting section at the bottom of each story. We want encourage people to sign in and comment directly on our site (we're not just a Facebook page!!!!), especially if you're not an avid user of Facebook. We aren't big tech trying to farm your data, we just want people to circulate around our website easier – it's better for all, we hope! Without withering on, as I tend to always do, just check it out. It'll be a slow burner getting people on but the user experience will improve. More on this in a later newsletter, no doubt...
