This is how some Armagh businesses are managing cost-of-living crisis
Good morning, Micheal with you here. I'm guessing there are still some Armagh fans still coming to terms with the drama that unfolded in Croke Park on Sunday afternoon! A rollercoaster of emotions for many...it's just like a week in the Armagh I office to be fair!
The cost of living crisis (which is a theme today) has forced me to dust down the bike – time to reshape the old calves! On that note, we really do need to think about our greenway infrastructure – it's not great, especially in and around our towns. It be great to be able to cycle without the fear of been mown down and for motorists, without the annoyance of pesky cyclists clogging the whole thing up!
Finally, we had a really interesting email from an avid reader on Friday (K, you know who you are..), just a response to the newsletter telling us what she would like us to cover. While I won't go into it the detail, it focused on a need for tips and guides around cost cutting – things to do that "won't cost a fortune". And while we don't know exactly what that is, we'd love to hear from you with your tips - things we can share. Things to do; groups to join; free places to visit etc. We've almost 5,000 members here (our little community) – we'd love to start sharing useful tips/advice/local hacks for readers. Please do let us know, as you are great at replying, and we'll pass them on..
