This is where you need to be..
You may have heard the news on Thursday, that Meta (the parent company of Facebook and Instagram) have taken the decision to make 11,000 of their employees redundant.
A regrettable situation indeed. However, it brings me to a point.
It is at times like this that we are incredibly thankful that we are not a social media platform - we are a digital platform (I'm not being pedantic - there is a big difference!)
Yes, we have just shy of 100,000 followers across our various social media channels, which is excellent, but we have over 382,000 monthly readers viewing our website. Over three times what social media provides! And of course, over 6,000 of you lovely people on our newsletter.
The beauty of this is, that no matter what happens with social media, whether it crashes, or closes or we get hacked (not again, touch wood!!) we will continue to provide our services as normal on platforms that we own.

A reader got in touch this week to tell us of a black limousin heifer which has unfortunately been missing since October 23. The heifer has been described as weighing approximately 350 kilos and it would mean a lot to the owner if she was found.
Whilst it is great to hear all of your good news via the newsletter, please do feel free to get in touch about anything you think is of relevance, just as this reader has done. You can send us your stories and photos here.
