Tributes paid on sudden passing of a 'genuine, humble and positive guy' Oisin Fields
Conor here, the boss is still away. Although, a trip away with three children is hardly a relaxing week in Gran Canaria. (he's not in Gran Canaria)
Micheal is not one to take breaks as Rikki previously mentioned, so the idea of him relinquishing control of the baby( I am referring to Armagh I - not his actual children) is quite an alien concept. I have been a member of Armagh I news team for four years this month and I can quite honestly say this has been the longest I have gone without a call from a rambling editor.....so I hope his wife has patience this week.
With him away, much of the editorial responsibility for the website has fallen to myself and fellow journalist Mairead - thankfully it is still intact and I have never looked forward to a weekend, or appreciated the work Micheal does, more.
All of this while trying to complete the purchase of my first home...no one told me it would be this stressful, it is supposed to be a joyous thing, right? Also, how do so many items accumulate in your home? We are currently on box number seven, with no clothing, cutlery, crockery or electrical goods yet packed - my flat looking more and more like that warehouse at the end of a well-known provider of Scandinavian flat pack furniture.
Anyway, I have to run, the other half is shouting for yet another car load of things we once definitely needed to be taken to the dump!
Hope your weekend plans are more enjoyable!
