We get by with "a little help from our friends"...
Good morning! A lovely bit of news to brighten your Tuesday... As you will perhaps have seen, we highlighted Johnmichael McCann's mission to help ensure tragic Aaron O'Neill's family receive the Christmas they all deserve, with an article written just five days ago.
We then heard back from Johnmichael the day after the story was published to say, "amazing guys, I had £2700 and after your article, we have close to £4500". They have even received donations from as far afield as New York, with a very special donation coming in from renowned Meath-based horse trainer, Gordon Elliot. Something the family believe Aaron would have been chuffed about.
Now at the time of writing (midday October 31), they have raised an astonishing £6595! A true testament to what can be achieved when people come together, especially, when you consider that all Johnmichael asked for was just, "a little help from friends".
