We've only gone and brought it back...bigger and better!
Good morning, everyone. As promised, Kellie with you today. I am the newest addition to the Armagh I team with just 6 months now under my belt in sales and marketing.
So far, I think I’ve fit in really well – but the probation meeting hasn’t yet happened (although Rikki keeps reminding me that it is coming up!) and that will be the real tell, although I’m fairly confident that they will keep me! As with most jobs, it helps to have a good sense of humour here and, although I’m small in stature, people tell me that I’ve got a big personality. I’d like to quote Shakespeare when I say, “And though she be but little, she is fierce” – a quote that could as easily be applied to our team here at Armagh I. We may be small in numbers, but we are big in ideas and passion!
Talking of big ideas… Have a watch of our latest video to hear a little bit about the comeback of our Independent Card. Bigger and better than before! Everyone is feeling the effect of the pandemic on our high streets and let’s just say the general consensus from Independent retailers is that they need support. *Enter Independent Card*. I have been out and about since November speaking with retailers across the county and beyond, accumulating offers, taking photos, making reels and preparing the launch of what will be a little-pocket sized driving force to help bolster that ‘Shop Local Ethos’.
Check out all the independent businesses here. And there's more to come...
Beloved Newsletter Subscribers – you can get your card today at an exclusive discounted price (£5 off the £15 price) and begin enjoying a host of discounts and offers all while supporting Independent Businesses across our local towns and cities. Click here to get your card. Use promo code INDY22 to avail of the £5 off. That's less than £1 a month for some brilliant discounts.
Also, if you are an Independent Business Owner who wants in on the action just drop a rely to this Newsletter and I will be in touch.
We have so much more in the pipeline I honestly don’t know where to begin. But that is just one of the reasons that I can say, “I love my job” (still thinking of that probation meeting). I do love my job- all joking aside. Every day is different. Every day is fun. Every member of our team’s ideas are taken into consideration and, more often than not, they are listened to. For the exception of Micheal, who has so many ideas that we have to constantly rein him in! The result of this is the multifaceted, interactive media website that you know all and love – our wee (but fierce) Armagh I.
Outgoing and Independent
It's here! It's finally here! The Independent Card is officially back and ready to order. Check out our latest video below to hear a bit more about Independent, all the latest in Entertainment and general shenanigans with Glaze and Roll - who are currently recruiting baristas - Rikki and I sadly didn't make the cut!
Video Premiere: The View with Kellie and Rikki
