While the boss is away....
Hey Everyone,
I’ve done it - I’ve stormed the castle! Normally, our newsletter starts with “Michael here with you” but not today. Rikki here instead! Truth be told it wasn’t a case of storming anywhere. Basically, we left the stable door ajar - and the horse bolted! (Micheal took holidays)
Now, for a mere mortal, holidays are just part and parcel of a job but here, at Armagh I HQ, we take nothing for granted. Our editor and chief Micheal is, for want of a better expression, a rare breed. His dedication to his “job” knows no limits and I have to say it’s at times exhausting especially as I love to try and keep up with him!
Micheal - have a great break.
Ok, down to business. Two things you need to know about me: 1. I’m not a journalist and 2. I’m not a journalist! I enjoy dabbling in the soft fluffy stuff and you’ll probably see me popping up every now and again as we have a few plans in the pipeline. Watch this space!
Sorry, the second thing that you do need to know is that I love hearing from people and I love to see how their minds work. So, I thought that I would open this up with New Years resolutions (yes that old one again). Mine for 2022 are the same as they’ve been for about the past 6 or 7 years - eat healthier (that’ll last about two weeks), exercise more (first session at the gym tonight in over a month) and make more time for people (I always try my best but I’m a very busy boy).
What are yours? Let me know. There have to be some good ones out there. Maybe yours is to finally throw yourself out of a plane hopefully with a parachute! Maybe you’re taking up a new hobby. Whatever it is, if you’ve any photos, we’d love to see them and we promise they’ll definitely end up on our Instagram page for the craic! Follow us here
