25 million later and here we are!
Good morning everyone. Rikki here with you this morning (every now and again I like to raise my head above water).
The countdown is now officially on to Christmas Day... and I have nothing done. Kellie previously ran a poll asking about your Christmas shopping status - yuck ! Needless to say I felt queasy. Now in my defence, Armagh I (HQ) has been very busy and there’s a lot happening behind the scenes (yes, we do more than write news, sell ads and publish newsletters) and my time has been stretched - alas, no Christmas shopping.
The elves at Armagh I have been busy with lots to be revealed in the coming weeks and to say we are very excited is an understatement - let’s just say we have been causing a bit of a stir in Armagh city centre. As always, you dedicated newsletter readers will be the first to know.
We spend a lot of time working with our advertisers to help them promote their businesses and we neglect shouting about our own. So here it goes -
24.5million - that’s the number of page views (or pages of news) you our loyal readers have consumed this year.
3.4 million - that’s the number of active readers we have had this year.
Not too bad for “a wee Facebook page”! In fact all these stats are for our website and the additional 100,000 social media followers sit outside that!
We’ve been here through it all this year and we are looking forward to continuing to do what we do and really become embedded in our community. After all… we are 10 years into our journey!
Oh, by the way - we also have a few new things coming…stay tuned.
I always like saying this bit (because it’s Micheal’s line): ‘anyway on with the news’
