Armagh? Or somewhere more exotic?
Many who move abroad are still eager to keep up to speed with what's happening in the Orchard County!
Good morning! Welcome to the Armagh I newsletter, which drops into your inbox every Tuesday and Friday morning. For some of our readers when they receive this newsletter, it isn’t the morning at all! We’ll tell you why below….
In today’s newsletter we’re thinking of expats – those who have left Co. Armagh to for a different life abroad, perhaps on sunnier shores.
Most of us know of someone who has decided to pack their bags and head off for new opportunities, most notably in places like Australia, Canada and the USA.
This week at Armagh I HQ, we had a lovely visit from a gentleman who was originally from Armagh, but had since moved to Queensland in Australia!
Brendan was back in the Orchard county visiting home and decided to call in to our office for a chat.
He is one of many expats who still follow Armagh I to keep up-to-date with all the happenings ‘way back home’ and was keen to get chatting to the team behind it all, even treating us to coffee! ☕ Thanks Brendan!
We’re grateful to so many people who reach out to us about how Armagh I helps them feel connected to their home town through our news coverage.
To those who are reading from abroad – is there anything you feel we could be doing to help keep you more informed? Would you like to see more local photographs, nostalgia, etc?
Let us know in the comments below! Or, like Brendan, just pop in for a chat next time you’re home.
