Good morning readers, it's Micheal here again....could your Friday get any worse!Anyway, a slight change in tone but for me, this has truly been a reaffirming week. I'm sure, like any job for any person, you have your peaks and troughs; you wonder why you bother sometimes, however, this week, I was reminded about my why! It was a peak week. The last few days have been a powerful reminder, to me personally, that the role I possess is a relatively unique one, in the sense of the access it allows me – and Armagh I – to people's lives. In turn, it is on us to convey that in our words, in our stories. It started with a conversation with Keady woman Katrina Finnegan – what an absolute privilege to have had 50-minutes of her time. The positivity she radiated, when she has every right to curse her luck in life, was incredible. Katrina's love for her daughter, Kerrie, was boundless, and knowing that she will be okay come what may, is Katrina's contentment. That is special. Being in a position to tell her story was special. If you haven't already, please give in 5-10 minutes of your time. Hats off to the Children's Fund for Cancer charity on their work. This Martha Washington quote sums it up Katrina perfectly.."The greater part of our happiness or misery depends upon our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.”
