MP aggrieved at infiltration of 'woke agenda' at Libraries NI
Communities Minister Gordon Lyons has written to Libraries NI amid claims some are stocking "transgender themed titles aimed at toddlers".
Upper Bann MP Carla Lockhart had written to the Minister after recent media reports that books offered for lending including others which "give advice to teenagers on how to use casual sex hookup apps".
The DUP representative said she was becoming "increasingly frustrated by the the infiltration of the 'woke agenda' being forced upon our children and young people".
She also expressed her concern at the choice of literature being made available in some Northern Ireland libraries.
Said the MP: "It is very concerning and highly inappropriate that books have been purchased by Libraries NI pushing this agenda. It is imperative that we prioritise the well-being and moral development of our young generation, safeguarding them from harmful influences.
"I firmly oppose the introduction of books that advocate gender transition or provide guidance on how to utilise casual sex hookup apps to teenagers. These materials are not appropriate for young children who are in the process of forming their understanding of themselves and the world around them.
"If these books are currently available in our libraries immediate action must be taken to remove them. Libraries should serve as spaces for learning, exploration and enrichment, not to promote materials that could impact the moral and psychological development of our children.
"I call upon fellow leaders, educators and community members to join me in advocating for the protection of our children from the detrimental effects of the 'woke agenda'. Let us work together to ensure that our educational institutions and libraries foster a healthy development of our youth.
"Having contacted the Minister for Communities in this regard he has assured me that he shares my concerns and, although the purchase of library books is an operational matter which is the responsibility of Libraries NI officials, he has written to them raising his concerns.”

Where in Co Armagh are we talking about?
Look into a guy called Dr John Money, a psychologist from Johns Hopkins University back in the day he had "reputation" in the field of sexual development and gender identity turns out he got into it because of his own problems. He started the whole gender identity movement which is getting sent all over the world today by the US government and US cooperation's (cultural colonists).
One of Dr Money's patience's was Bruce Reimer a very unfortunate little boy who had a horrific accident during a failed circumcision he lost his little fella. In pure desperation his parents (just normal trades people) in their desperation looked to and up to Dr Money who was a bit of celebrity back then to help their baby boy. Dr Money suggested Bruce undergo sex reassignment survey which was the first of it kind and a pet project of Dr Money.
The long and short of it Dr Money started converting the boy into a girl saying that there was no such thing as gender. The treatment lasted years, each year the parents would bring the child to Dr Money for a couple of days and the continued to raise him as a girl.
In the end as Bruce got older he knew he wasnt a girl so against the advice of Dr Money the little girl decided to transition back to boy. In the end he couldnt reconcile what had happened him so committed suicide in his 30s.
It was later revealed Dr Money during years on the regular visits the Dr forced Bruce (then known as Brenda) to do things which Brenda didnt want to do.
