I creased vigilance and road traffic initiatives are all well and good, BUT A MAJOR ISSUE TO BE ADDRESSED, ARE THE NIGHTLY BOY RACER TYPES.
These anti social and dangerous driving individuals, can be heard each night preceding midnight and after, as they use the streets throughout the city as a personal speedway and demonstration track. Their cars roar and make intentional misfires and backfires, or have high pitched exhaust whistles, purely intended to disrupt and disturb people, their engines rev and they wheel spin, they drive at speeds clearly in excess of speed limits,both perceived and from the engine pitch as they progress around the streets.
it's only a matter of time before such loutish behaviour results in serious, if not fatal injury.
It's time this carry on being stomped out, both through police and court action, but also with community condemnation
It is time the Council bureaucrats realised that they do not exist in some Thatcherite fantasy land where they can sack people for the "crime" of sticking up for their, and others, rights.
Stay out as long as you must gentlemen, we'll survive.
